F.G. Worksop's Leather 'Leg O' Mutton' Shotgun Case - c.1870

£95.00

A lovely piece of Victorian leatherwork, impressed with owner’s name F.G. WORKSOP and having brass fittings, a leather handle and a lovely deep, rich patination.

Due to its current condition this is probably more for display than use, but could feasibly be repaired and improved.

Condition:

This case has seen better days, with lots of stitching missing, particularly around the hinging cover. No internals to lock and no key. Interior green felt mostly now lacking.

Dimensions:

External:

79 cm long x 23 cm wide x 8 cm thick.

Internal:

Would house barrels of up to 29.5 inches long and a stock of up to 21.5 inches long.

Free UK delivery. International buyers please email me with your postcode for a shipping quote george.holtby@gmail.com
