A very rare pair of occasional tables by the hugely influential Italian designer and decorator Carlo Bugatti (father of Ettore Bugatti (cars) and Rembrandt Bugatti (sculpture)), dating to around 1920.

The tables, architectural in form and with apparent Moorish influence, have black leather inset tops and are inlaid with natural and stained bone, the supports also overlaid with copper decoration.

Condition:

In excellent condition, having been sensitively restored. Various cracks and imperfections commensurate with age, but ready to go.

Dimensions:

50 cm high x 32 cm wide x 32 cm deep.
