An intriguing Regency ebonised table, the simulated rosewood top decorated with applied paper (decoupage), including playing cards, sheet music, a charade book, and a signed envelope dated 1813, with trompe l’oeil painted decoration on top, within an embossed paper border, on a turned column and stepped base with painted decoration.

Mrs Henry T. Ford II of Turville Grange, Buckinghamshire.

Condition:

Old repair to top, some paint flaking and wear. Ready to go.
