An Edwardian Green Painted Dentistry Chest Cabinet - c.1905
A fabulous early 20th century dentist’s chest / cabinet, in very old worn verdigris green paint, having an arrangement of ten finely dovetailed graduated glass lined drawers, a pull out white glass work surface and a hinged bottle holder, above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing an internal shelf, on a black plinth base.
Fitted a set of new turned brass knob handles.
The drawers all have removable stops to prevent them being pulled out and dropped.
This piece could be used for any number of purposes in a home setting.
Condition:
The paint has lots of marks, spots etc. which add to the overall look! The pull out white glass drawer has cracks (See photos). Structurally excellent and ready to go.
