A fine sycamore writing table by Marsh & Jones of Leeds, of wonderfully pale colour, the crossbanded top having a central inlaid oval floral cartouche, with a single frieze drawer, on shaped supports with chamfered edges inlaid with burr walnut, united by a single turned stretcher, terminating on bun feet with brass castors.

Makers label behind the frieze drawer reads: MARSH & JONES (Late KENDELL & Co), No. 24342, Workmans’s Name, Soloman.

Condition:

In lovely antique condition, with various old scratches and marks to the top and base, which have patinated in nicely. No issues, ready to go.

Dimensions:

72 cm high x 91 cm wide x 53 cm deep.
