A fine cased taxidermy Chub, preserved by the best firm of fish taxidermists: J. Cooper & Sons of 28 Radnor Street, St Luke’s, London, in a bow front case with a naturalistic river interior of reeds and grass, the glass with gilt line detailing and the hand painted inscription:

Caught by G.H. WOODALL, Atcham Bridge, River Severn. Feb 6th 1930. Wgt 4lbs 2ozs.

Paper makers label to top left of case interior. With hanging ring to back.

Condition:

In perfect condition with no issues.

Dimensions:

32 cm high x 66 cm wide x 16 cm deep
