A Georgian Mahogany Tripod Table With A One Piece Top - c.1770
A characterful and untouched Georgian mahogany tripod table, with the most wonderful one piece top with a massive knot, in lovely faded time worn colour and condition, on its crusty tripod base with turned columns and tilt mechanism (seems to be jammed or possibly screwed down as it doesn’t tilt).
Condition:
One leg a bit loose but the table is firm when stood on its legs. Non structural crack down grain on the column. Top with lots of old silhouettes and marks which add rather than detract. Generally usable but obviously not perfect.
