George II Provincial Oak Lowboy - c.1740

£290.00
Sold

A charming early Georgian provincial lowboy, in sleepy, untouched country house condition, having a patinated three piece top and three pine lined dovetail jointed drawers, above a nicely drawn shaped apron, on straight cabriole legs. We believe this piece dates to around 1740.

Condition:

In good antique condition with no issues. Two of the leg returns were missing and I have had them replaced by my restorer. The top has lots of various old splits and lovely old marks, ink stains and patination which enhance rather than detract. The top also has a slight wave to it, which is visible in the images. Ready to be used and enjoyed.

Dimensions:

71 cm high x 77 cm wide x 51 cm deep

Shipping not included. Please email me with your postcode for a shipping quote george.holtby@gmail.com
