A fabulous Neoclassical Art Deco period window seat / bench, of generous proportions with splayed arms, on solid Coromandel wood stepped legs and rails, with decorative ebonised Greek key pattern finishing rails underneath.
This window seat draws on both Art Deco and Neoclassical design cues and was likely produced by a top maker of the time.
Stripped back to calico, ready for a new top cover.
Probably English, c.1925.
