A Large Victorian Brass Mounted Double Lock Camphor Wood Trunk - c.1880
An oversized Victorian camphor wood trunk, of lovely warm light colour, probably made in Hong Kong for the European export market towards the end of the 19th century, with beefy brass carrying handles to each end, brass corner and edge mounts, exposed dovetail joints, double locks to the front and an internal lidded compartment beneath the top, on a possibly later plinth base.
This would make an excellent coffee table or end-of-the-bed storage, and is larger than usual.
Condition:
In good condition with no issues. No key.
