A Large Regency Gilt Convex Mirror - c.1820
A very smart Regency convex mirror, of good generous size with 51 balls, an ebonised slip and the slightly silvered original convex mercury glass mirror plate.
Condition:
Certainly not perfect, with honest wear and tear, various old repairs, touch ups and imperfections to balls. Pinky substrate beneath gilding is visible in several places. Overall the original gilding is bright and the mirror is ready to be hung and enjoyed. A nice old and honest piece.
