A fabulous Victorian satin birch linen press by Heal & Son (Heals), of lovely muted light golden colour, the lockable pair of panel doors (key included) opening to reveal four mahogany sliding trays, the base having two short and three long smooth running mahogany lined drawers, with turned handles.
The top right drawer is stamped Heal & Son, London
An extremely useful and attractive piece of furniture by one of the top makers, offering generous storage.
The top separates from the bottom for easy transportation.
Condition:
In overall lovely condition commensurate with age. Some old veneer chips and small restorations around the base as normal. Has had later handles but we have reinstated the correct turned handles. Ready to go.
